Shiitake industry propels precise poverty alleviation

Recently, Shiitakes cultivated in Liyuan Mushroom Poverty-alleviation Base of Liuzhuang Village, Zhangji Town, Shandong Province of China keep on showing satisfactory growth tendency.
Liyuan Mushroom Poverty-alleviation Base began its construction on July, 2017 and completed it in October. Now, the base covers over 130 mu of land and holds 9.4 million CNY of fund. Within the base, a stick factory, 5 spawn-running houses, 50 Shiitake greenhouses, 7 intelligent, duplex and fully-automatic fruiting greenhouses and 1 thermostatic preservation storehouse have been built. Annually, the base outputs 1.2 million of Shiitake sticks, 1.2 million kg of fresh Shiitakes and supplies 3 million Shiitake sticks. Besides, a mature technical team has been invited to the base so as to promote a thorough industrial chain from strain cultivation, stick production, Shiitake production and marketing.
Next step, Liyuan Base intends to cooperate with famous colleges and universities and research institutes in a bid to lift production technology and input technology vitality. Moreover, it is going to vigorously boost deep processing of Shiitake, raise fund and establish production lines so as to launch Dried Shiitake, Shiitake Cans, Shiitake Diet and other ranges of product.
