Fujian: Button Mushroom produced of scraps sourced from King Oyster Mushroom planting

 At present, the farmers are harvesting fresh Button Mushroom at Jiayuan mushroom growing base (JMGB) located in Xiashi village, Jingyang township, Fuqing City, Fujian province. It is learned that Button mushroom grew very well at this base, with the annual harvest of 50000 Kg in temperature-controlled greenhouse of 6000 m2. More commendable thing is that the raw materials producing Button mushroom consist of the scraps sourced from King Oyster Mushroom industrialized planting, straw and dung. This technology reduced the production cost, moreover the producing Button Mushroom taste delicious and nutritious. Jiayuan Mushroom Growing Cooperative effectively drive mushroom industry to develop by ways of unifying  greenhouse building, mushroom spawn supplying, and technical service. JMGB invested more than i million CNY, bringing annual output value of more than 500 thousands, with remarkable economic, ecological, and social benefits.
