Shelf-mode Button mushroom cultivation predicts high yield

In recent days, technical staffs working in shelf-mode Button mushroom greenhouse of Luojiaqiao Village, Fengdu County, Chongqing City of China are busy with picking work of Button mushroom. According to know, the greenhouse is 30 meters in length, 8 meters in width and 2.8 meters in height, and pattern on 2 rows and 7 shelves is set up, gross cultivation area totals 210 square meters.
In accordance with common cultivation mode, available utilization of space within 240 square meters reaches only 120 square meters whereas it hits 210 square meters for shelf-mode cultivation. Besides, in each shelf-mode greenhouse, gross output on Button mushroom obtains 3150 kg, output value comes to 22,000 CNY and pure profits amount to 12,000 CNY, which saves labor force while lifting efficiency. Most importantly, shelf-mode cultivation helps achieve successive cultivation.
“On the basis of common cultivation mode, soil is contaminated by bacteria after the first time of cultivation, and hence second time of cultivation could be implemented after 4 years. Regarding shelf-mode cultivation, soil content could be removed and replaced, which effectively eliminates the issue,” introduces related technical staff passionately, continuing that next step, they plan to promote the technology in an extensive range and propel growers to achieve handsome revenues.
