Large-scale Bamboo fungus cultivation is formed in Yihuang County, Jiangxi

As the most remote place within Yihuang County, Jiangxi Province of China, Shangbeikeng Village holds inconvenient traffic and unsubstantial economic basis.
Under full support, Yihuang Hongliang Mushroom Cooperative was built by director and other 12 households in Shangbeikeng Village. Now, gross cultivation capacity on Bamboo fungus totals over 200 mu, economic incomes attain above 2.6 million CNY while more than 500 left-behind elderly and women are driven to get jobs and generate 4000-5000 CNY of average net incomes per poor household. Meanwhile, 5 local large-scale growers raised 5 million CNY on establishment of Jiangxi Shenguang Agriculture Development Co., LTD that mainly engages in R&D, production of Bamboo fungus sticks.
By now, through on-site investigation, holding of village meeting and mavens’ demonstration, Bamboo fungus cultivation has been determined as one of five industrial projects in Shangbeikeng Village, area for Bamboo fungus cultivation accounts for 60% of Yihuang County’s area, which indicates the prosperous development tendency.
