Maitake mushroom is a high quality product, which is the food and drug fungus by artificial domestication in recently. In 1970, Japan is the earliest started to domesticate the Maitake mushroom, achieved a success. In China, Qianxi county of Hebei province domesticated the Maitake mushroom, achieved a success in 1992, and the product scale increasing by years. In recent years, the Qianxi county relies on the Chestnut resource to develop the Maitake mushroom industry. So far, this county has 22 factories of Maitake mushroom spawn bag production, having 7 professional cooperatives, the edible mushroom Maitake mushroom reaching 30 million bags, annual fresh product reaching 6.5 million kilogram, the output value achieving 130 million CNY.
