Ingredients:
1 chunk of white gourd
2 fresh Shiitakes
2 bowls of chicken soup stock
A handful of chopped onion
Condiments: Salt, sugar
Steps:
1. Peel the white gourd, get rid of pulp and rinse, then cut it into strips.
2. Remove and discard the base of Shiitake, cut Shiitake caps into slices.
3. In a soup pot with moderate water, combine with 2 bowls of chicken soup stock and bring it into a boil.
4. Add white gourd strips, cook over medium and high flame till translucent, then invite Shiitake slices and maintain the heat for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Sprinkle with a dash of salt and sugar. Garnish with a handful of chopped onion. Enjoy.
