Jiangsu: Featured mushroom industry rised sharply in Huai’an

From 2014, mushroom industry was promoted firstly as an emerging industry in Huai’an, Jiangsu province. < >(2014-2018) was compiled by Jiangsu Province Agronomy Society who was invited by Huai’an Agricultural Commission as a leading department. They increased the scale of attracting merchants and capital, introducing 9 mushroom  enterprises, scalizing and industrializing mushroom industry. The producing area in Huai’an attained 47000000 m2 with the total production of 171 thousand tons fresh mushrooms which includes more than 10 species, such as Oyster Mushroom, Straw mushroom, Shiitake mushroom, White Enoki mushrooms, King oyster mushroom, et al. The output value will firstly exceed 1 billion CNY in 2014. The economic benefit from mushroom industry is sharply remarkable, mushrooms were grew on a large scale, mushroom industry became one of the important forces to promote economic development in Huaian.
