Morel industry propels farmers to take off the hat of poverty

In severe winter, Lingnan Village, Chengkou County, Chongqing City is full of hustle and bustle, workers are fiercely busy with Morel production in the base. By now, construction work of Morel greenhouse has begun to take shape in Lingnan Village, which indicates that local Morel project has entered into substantial development stage and the new step of industrial poverty alleviation.
Now, among 527 households totaling 2320 population in Lingnan Village, 98 households meaning 382 populations are in poor status. In order to help them end poverty and grow prosperous, local village officer decided to be realistic and set mushroom cultivation as the main project that alleviates bitter poverty. 
Till now, area of Morel cultivation has been expanded to over 100 mu, gross revenues on each mu attain 15,000 CNY in Lingnan Village, in terms of the present cultivation situation, the expected picking time arrives at the beginning of March, Morel industry is brilliantly becoming the new highlight which stimulates the agricultural development of Lingnan Village and adding new driving force for precise poverty removal.
