Mushroom cooperative drives poverty alleviation

Founded on April, 2017, Liaoning Xiangzhong Mushroom Land Stock Cooperative absorbs 104 households in 117.6 mu of area, by now, 10 high-standard spawn-running greenhouses and over 60 fruiting greenhouses have been built. In each greenhouse, 6000-8000 mushroom sticks could be placed on the first floor, with the fruiting rate of 2.6-3kg per stick and the present market price of 11-12 CNY per kg, net profits on each stick reach 6.5-7 CNY, pure revenues achieve 2.5-3 CNY per stick and conservative net income on each greenhouse comes to 12,000-15,000 CNY. Besides, the cooperative also solves a great amount of idle labour and creates exceptional advantage to local poverty alleviation.
