Gross Shiitake output obtains 75 million bags by 2017

Now, it is the picking time of Shiitake in Qingyuan County, Zhejiang Province of China, growers are busy with the picking and airing work.
“The picking period started from 10th, Nov, till now, 100,000 kg of fresh Shiitakes have been harvested and listed on market,” said one of local mushroom growers excitedly.
By the end of 2017, scale of mushroom production is expected to attain 111 million sticks in Qingyuan County, of which Shiitake occupies 75 million bags, Black fungus takes up 15.10 million bags and Maitake carries 11.9 million bags.
