For recent years, through arduous hard-work on mushroom industry, Mr. Zhang Deping, one of villagers in Hongshi Town, Dandong City, Liaoning Province of China, has turned himself from disabled poor population to principal of local mushroo m cooperative.
As the target of village’s precise poverty alleviation, Mr. Zhang contracted over 20 mu of land on establishment of mushroom cooperative, then he introduced 150,000 bags of strain and engaged in the cultivation while groping for experiences.
Now, it is the harvest season of Black fungus in the cooperative.
“By the time of this year, over 7000 kg of three-flush Black fungi have been harvested, in winter, four plastic-covered greenhouses are expected to be absorbed while a strain factory is in planned construction,” introduces Mr. Zhang with a will.
