Technology promotion station turns mushroom growing into a cash cow

Over the years, Mushroom Technology Promotion Station of Malong County, Yunnan Province of China has been laying emphasis on promotion and standardization of mushroom technology.
Now, within mushroom cooperative of the station, Shiitakes are leading satisfactory development trend. According to know, the cooperative absorbs over 80 Shiitake greenhouses, gross capacity obtains 650,000 sticks, annual output reaches 520 tons and output value comes to over 4.8 million CNY, Shiitakes produced from the cooperative have also passed National Organic Food Certification.
