Artificial Morel cultivation was introduced to Jiangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences

At present, Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province of China and Mushroom Research Center of Huazhong Agricultural University is orderly carrying out artificial Morel cultivation.
According to know, at the beginning of this year, Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province of China introduced technology from Huazhong Agricultural University, started to conduct trial Morel cultivation in form of 7 varieties and 1800 bags in 3 mu of land. By early December, total sowing area of Morel strain is expected to reach 120 mu.
Morel is a kind of rare fungus which grows in low-temperature and damp season. In Jiangxi Province of China, sowing period of Morel cultivation is generally arranged from the first ten days of November to the beginning of December, and picking season starts from the middle ten days and the last ten days of February to the first ten days of April. In common cases, average mu output comes to 100-250 kg, high yield reaches 300-400 kg and market price of fresh Morel is at 100-120 CNY per kg.
