Industry is the root to enrich the masses. Over the years, Lianshui County, Jiangsu Province of China has been accelerating the transformation and upgrading of agriculture, grasping mushroom industry as the characteristic and prosperous industry.
Now, in one of local mushroom gardens, Shiitakes are showing good growth tendency.
“This year’s gross capacity is at 1 million sticks. In the garden, 2 flushes of Shiitake could be respectively realized in spring and autumn, 650,000 kg of Shiitake could be harvested via 1 million sticks, with the market price of 12-14 CNY per kg, revenues are rather considerable,” introduces holder of the garden, going on that after the drying, market price could go up to 90-120 CNY per kg.
