Mushroom industry flourishes in Gutian County, Fujian Province of China

Recently, Agricultural Department of Guizhou Province and related principals went to Gutian County, Fujian Province of China for investigation and survey on local mushroom industry.
Masses living in Gutian County have been tightly bounded to mushrooms, in 2016, gross output on fresh mushroom reached 780,000 tons in the county and gross output value realized nearly ten billion CNY, 70% of local labor forces involved in mushroom industry and 70% of rural cash earnings and gross agricultural output value came from mushroom industry.
Over the 40 years, annual output and output value of mushroom have been increasing for hundreds to thousands of time. Bamboo fungus, White fungus and other quondam imperial banquet products have become the common foods and delicacies of ordinary people. China has also become one of global great nations in aspect of mushroom production and consumption.
