Beijing: Trial cultivation of Winter Bamboo fungus was introduced

On 30th, Oct, strain of Bamboo fungus was introduced to Beijing Agricultural Technology Promotion Station from Guizhou Province and it has been put into trial cultivation in Yueliangwan Cooperative of Huairou District and Forestry Station of Daxing District by forms of greenhouse and earthing, the anticipated fruiting time is in May.
Winter Bamboo fungus is a kind of rare mushroom which holds tasty and crisp flavor as well as delivering high edible and medicinal values. In South China, cultivation of Winter Bamboo fungus is mainly divided into several modes such as under forest, inter-planting with corn and inter-planting with cannabis. Cultivation methods mainly include Wood Brick Method, Saw Dust Method, Mixture of Saw Dust and Straw.
