Yunnan Province of China: Mushroom industry leads quick development trend

In recent years, Xinping County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province of China has been actively bringing ecological and biological resource advantages into play, vigorously pushing the development of mushroom industry via adjustment of agricultural structure.
This year, Xinping County plans to achieve 800 mu of area on artificial mushroom cultivation, reach 8000 tons of mushroom output and output value of 150 million CNY.
By the end of 2020, the county is expected to realize 3000 mu of area on artificial mushroom cultivation and obtain 400 million CNY of output value, striving to provide powerful support for local agricultural structure adjustment, poverty alleviation and growers’ income-generating.
