Morel cultivation thrives masses

Over the years, Taxiu Village, Wenquan County, Sinkiang of China has been actively guiding farmers to engage in Morel cultivation. In 2016, under the support and guidance of local agricultural bureau and agricultural technology promotion station, trial Morel cultivation implemented by Wanbao Yongsheng Specialized Cooperative obtained its success in 5 mu of land, mu output reached 150kg, which showed considerable economic benefits and further stimulated growers’ enthusiasm.
According to know, each mu of land takes nearly 4600 CNY in aspect of under-forest Morel cultivation, after deducting agricultural subsidies, it is reduced to 2300 CNY, and free technical guidance could be provided as well.
Besides, processing factory has been built in the cooperative so that procedures such as packaging and marketing could be done.
“At the end of next April, White fungi could be cultivated after the harvest of Morel, which indicates double benefits in the same land,” introduces related principal of the cooperative, adding that till now, area of Morel cultivation has been expanded to 205 mu, which thrives nearly 30 rural surplus labor forces.
