Black fungus cultivation widens growers’ booming road

Over the years, Huangdu Community, Wuchuan County, Guizhou Province of China has been grasping the polity opportunity on poverty alleviation, fully utilizing advantaged climatic conditions and good ecological resources to spur Black fungus industry, which broadens the booming road for growers.
In 2016, Huangdu Community introduced Huinong Modern Agricultural Development Co., LTD, with the fund support of over 5 million CNY, Black fungus base that covers over 150 mu of land has been built, of which 8 spawn-running greenhouses that annually produce 1.5 million sticks and 4 drying houses are absorbed, and gross capacity comes to 2 million mushroom sticks.
In April, procedures of mushroom cultivation such as material-mixing, bagging, sterilization, inoculation, spawn running were finished, 1.3 million mushroom sticks were produced and transplanted into greenhouses and fields, till now, 50,000 kg of dried Black fungi have been harvested and sales income obtained over 5 million CNY.
“Now, Black fungus industry has become one of pillar industries in the community, and we are planning to implement the project of Shiitake cultivation that holds 1 million sticks of capacity so as to realize whole industry coverage and a well-off future,” introduces deputy head of Huangdu Community in spirit.
