Research: the study of Singerocybe fungi had a new discovery

It is reported that new progress has been achieved by Yang Zhuliang team of the east Asia plant biodiversity and biogeography key lab of Chinese Academy of Sciences in the study of Singerocybe fungi. Singerocybe belongs Tricholomataceae (Agaricales). Because of its surface of stipeand and pileus have vesicular inflated cells, someone make it in independent genus, but their genus status was always questionable. Yang Zhuliang team through a lot of specimen collection that collects from eastern Europe, the North and the west of America, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Australia and other places, first time using multiple genes spectrum identification method to identified the Singerocybe species of the world. Putting the past mistake of the species is Clitocybe and Cantharellus transform the Singerocybe genus. And they discuss the way of species, making the taxonomy and systematics study of the genus to take a step forward.
