Straws and cow dung are treasures for mushroom cultivation

In recent years, Xiping County, Henan Province of China has been actively promoting characteristic agricultural industry and building up new trend of mushroom industry.
According to know, Xiping County maximally improves the utilization rate of agricultural wastes, establishes the high-efficient, green and ecological agricultural mode that integrates Animal, Plant and Mushroom into one.
In one of Button mushroom bases of Xiping County, the cyclic production mode of Straw + Cow dung - Button mushroom - field returning of mushroom wastes is vigorously growing. By following this kind of mode, production costs get lowered while markets are broadened, Button mushrooms produced here have been sold abroad.
Currently, annual output on Oyster mushroom, Enoki mushroom and Shiitake comes to 85 million bags or so in Xiping county, cultivation area for Button mushroom and Straw mushroom totals 380,000 meters, the county also has been rated as The Top Ten Mushroom Bases in Henan Province and National Key Mushroom County.
