Mushroom industry booms in Henan Province, China

For years, mushroom industry has been leading substantial development in Henan Province of China, in 2015, gross mushroom output reached 4.8865 million tons and output value obtained 36.857 billion CNY in Henan Province, which all achieved leading position in Chinese mushroom industry. In 2016, the province also obtained 960 million USD on export volume of mushroom.
Furthermore, for recent years, Henan Province of China has been developing quickly on aspects of standardized and industrialized mushroom production. 
According to China Edible Mushroom Business Net (CEMBN), now, Henan Province holds nearly 40 industrialized mushroom enterprises that carry daily output of above 30,000 tons. Besides, there are nearly 200 mushroom processing enterprises within the province. 
As one of the province’s largest demonstrative production and processing bases of rare mushroom, Henan Shijixiang Mushroom Development Co., LTD annually produces over 38,000 tons of mushrooms, markets them to over 30 nations and regions of the world and wins high praises. 
In Henan Province, mushroom industry has become the crucial pillar industry that promotes farmers to increase incomes, drives agriculture to enhance benefits, leads rural village to become prosperous and accelerates the development of modern agriculture.
