20 anti-season Shiitake greenhouses are put into production

Recently, Shiitake greenhouses in Minwan Village, Lushi County, Henan Province of China have been attracting all-round mushroom mavens for visiting and investigation. It could be observed that greenhouses are covered with 2 layers of sunshade film and 2 layers of plastic film while they are equipped with automatic sprinkler.
“Lushi County holds traditional experience on Shiitake cultivation, i have been engaging in Shiitake cultivation for over 20 years and never expected to produce Shiitakes in summer,” said Mr, Yang, one of local mushroom mavens in spirits, adding that more than 10 batches of Shiitake could be harvested per year in each greenhouse, till now, 600 mu of land has been transformed, among 329 planned Shiitake greenhouses, 45 have been constructed while 20 have been put into production, Shiitakes are mainly sold to Shanghai, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou and other large cities in China.
