Oyster mushroom cultivation summons the pocket of villagers

“Last year, our cooperative started to operate 12 Oyster mushroom greenhouses, each greenhouse earned the net profits of 25,000 CNY, average profits for each household came to 43,000 CNY,” introduces Mr. Ye, the principal of agricultural cooperative in Houli Village, Gucheng County, Hebei Province of China, adding that they are expanding 16 greenhouses, the anticipated production value could reach 3 million CNY while net revenues total 1 million CNY next year.
According to know, Houli Village holds over 30 years of history on Oyster mushroom cultivation while it hasn’t formed technical and scale advantages now. Under new normal of economic development, village leaders helped local cultivators establish cooperative which absorbs 7 households and 12 greenhouses at present. Besides, Agricultural and Animal Husbandry bureau installs water-saving spray equipment for cultivators for free, which solves hard technical puzzle on humidity in greenhouse. Under national benefiting-farmer policy, Oyster mushroom industry is now going flourishing.
