Scale of wild-imitated Russula exceeds 8600 mu while gross incomes add over 70 million CNY

In many forest land of Langshui Town, Yulin City, Guangxi Province of China, red castanopsis trees are cultivated and exquisitely preserved, every year from May to October, under the support of sufficient rainfall and high temperature, wild Russula which facilitates enriching the blood, resisting to cancer, clearing dampness and protecting heart naturally evolve. Artificial cultivation cannot be realized on Russula while low output is evident. As a consequence, its requirement is huge in markets of Guangxi Province, Fujian Province, Taiwan and Malaysia, products are in short supply. This year, the market purchasing price of dried wild Russula is at a range of 1200-1400 CNY or so per kg, up more than twice than in 2010.
Till now, the scale of wild-imitated Russula land has been expanded to over 8600 mu in Langshui Town, by the end of July, 46,000 kg of dried Russula were harvested and revenues came to 55.2 million CNY. By the end of this year, the gross output on dried Russula could obtain 61,000 kg and total incomes add up to 73.2 million CNY in the town. Besides, among more than 2300 households that engage in Russula industry, 60 households have realized the annual revenues of more than 100,000 CNY, through scientific management,  Russula industry is raising the hope of growing affluent for local masses.
