Sinkiang: Fresh Button mushrooms are coming into season

For recent years, Tekes County, Ili, Sinkiang of China has been consolidating the development of local mushroom industry, since April, Tuosiman Specialized Cooperative launched the new exploration of Button mushroom cultivation.
“Our cooperative gives full play to industrial and technical superiorities and reasonably utilizes unique local regional resource superiority. In 2 greenhouses of the cooperative, cotton quilts and straw matting are covered on top while reflective transfer films are enhanced, which keeps the indoor temperature range of greenhouse at 14-18 degrees Celsius and creates comfortable atmosphere for Button mushrooms,” said related principal of the cooperative, going on that each greenhouse occupies 660 square meters of area and is equipped with 3 cultivation layers, the fruiting volume in each square meter totals 12kg or so, with the market price of 20 CNY per kg on fresh Button mushroom, the expected gross production value of the two greenhouses could reach at least 180,000 CNY.
