Naxi District, Baijie Town, Luzhou City of Sichuan Province holds large area of Bamboo forest, tranquil environment and fresh air. When you walk into local Black fungus Base which is under green bamboo forest, rows of Black fungus sacks which are evolving in vigor could be observed.
“Black fungus cultivation in waste forest land of bamboo forest not only saves cultivation costs, but also improves soil structure, which indicates a win-win road on cyclic utilization,” said Mr. Chen, the president of the base passionately.
In 2015, under the guidance and support of local government, Luzhou Zhuyun Co., LTD that engages in R&D and production of bamboo craft and bamboo furniture fully utilized considerable resource conditions and established Qizhu Mushroom Cooperative. In late March, Mr. Chen invited professional mushroom experts and set 25,000 mushroom bags in bamboo forest. Besides, spraying equipment of mountain spring water was also installed so as to supplement the moisture needed by the growth of Black fungus. In virtues of fresh and moist air, moderate temperature, mountain spring water and careful management, Black fungus sacks successfully fruited. In the middle of April, picking period was launched. According to know, 10 CNY of incomes could be generated through one Black fungus bag. At present, 10 bags are being cultivated in bamboo forest and they are leading desirable growth trend, after the picking, waste residues will be returned to forest land to strengthen the organic matter and realize mutual benefits between forest and mushroom and obtain resource cyclic utilization, which saves land resources while boosting the growth of bamboo forest.
