Shanxi Province of China: Golden fungi are sold well to home and abroad

Recent days, the picking work of Golden fungi is being grasped by the staffs in Baozhuguan Village, Ningqiang County, Shanxi Province of China.
In 2017, Ningqiang County has been constantly introducing new mushroom varieties and promoting new technology. Till now, Golden fungus and other rare mushroom varieties which hold high edible and medicinal values, considerable economic benefits and bright market prospects have been successfully cultivated. Products find good markets at home and abroad, which not only enriches the baskets for masses, but also broadens the channels for poor villagers to generate incomes and grow prosperous. According to know, this year, Ningqiang County intends to develop over 40 million bags of Black fungus, Golden fungus, Shiitake and other varieties, annual output on fresh mushroom could reach more than 36,000 tons while the expected production value adds up to 280 million CNY. Mushroom cultivation has become the leading industry for mountainous masses to end poverty and grow rich.
