Yunnan Province: Ning’er County develops demonstrative cultivation of rare mushroom

In 2016, the supply and marketing cooperative in Ning’er Hani and Yi Autonomous County, Pu’er City, Yunnan Province combined with local work of poverty alleviation, raised the investment of 200,000 CNY on local towns and villages and cultivated Morels, Bamboo fungus, Stropharia rugosoannulata and other rare mushrooms in 105 mu of area.
Till now, 78 tons of Stropharia rugosoannulata have been picked and purchased by the average price of 5 CNY per kg. In addition, 28 mushroom households have generated income of more than 13,000 CNY. Stropharia rugosoannulata could be continuously picked for 6 months, it is anticipated that mushroom cultivation is going to enable each household to generate more than 30,000 CNY of incomes.
