On 23rd July, The Second National Black Fungus Development Meeting jointly sponsored by China Edible Mushroom Business Net and The People’s Government of Shangzhi City was successfully concluded in Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province of China.

“In 2016, gross mushroom capacity obtained 1 billion bags in Shangzhi City, the annual output on Black fungus reached 79,800 tons while other mushrooms account for 42,700 tons. Black fungus cultivation has become the crucial industry that stimulates the economy of Shangzhi City,” said Mr. Yang, the municipal party committee secretary of Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province of China, adding that the holding of The Second National Black Fungus Development Meeting will surely play a positive role to the development of Black fungus Industry in the city.
Besides, on opening ceremony, Mr. Tao, the general agronomist from Agricultural Committee of Heilongjiang Province pointed out that “Heilongjiang Province is China’s major agricultural province as well as the national main production area of Black fungus, for years, during the adjustment process of agricultural structure, Heilongjiang Province has been vigorously developing characteristic industry that features Black fungus, many counties and cities have been regarding Black fungus as the main local leading industry, Black fungus industry has also assuredly played a positive effect on the promotion of agricultural efficiency and income growth.”
