Yunnan Province: Daily sales volume of wild mushroom comes to 450 tons

Since July, abundant rainfall in Kunming City, Yunnan Province of China has been giving rise to the complaint from citizens, however, wild mushrooms are also gradually breaking into soil and emerging into markets due to desirable rainfall. Compared with June, the price of wild mushroom has declined a lot.
According to know, at present, more than 40 wild mushrooms could be found in markets of Kunming City. As revealed by the principal of Kunming Mushuihua Wild Mushroom Transaction Market, the present price of Brown Boletus, Russula virescens, Matsutake, Black Boletus, White Boletus and Thelephora ganbajun is respectively at 70-130 CNY, 130-260 CNY, 300-800 CNY, 30-100 CNY, 50-80 CNY and 300-800 CNY per kg.
“The marketing time of wild mushroom is later than previous year while large output and superior quality have been shown. Currently, the daily transaction volume of wild mushroom in Mushuihua market totals 450 tons,” said the vice manager of the market passionately, adding that Matsutake is the variety that suffers large price fluctuation, and it’s price has dropped down to 300-800 CNY per kg compared with at least 1000 CNY per kg in previous years.
