Yimen County: The average annual output of wild mushroom totals 5000 tons

According to know, Yimen County, Yunnan Province of China holds the forest coverage rate of 72.16%, which contributes to the vigorous growth of Bolete, Sparassis crispa, Termitomyces albuminosus, Matsutake, Russula virescens, Chantarelle and other 200 varieties, among them, 70 varieties are certified edible variety.
It is understood that wild mushrooms produced from Yimen County enjoy good reputation for numerous varieties, considerable output, tasty flavor and superior quality. As the most prestigious one, Sparassis crispa is thick in texture and delicious in flavor. 
It is estimated that the average annual output of wild mushroom comes to 5000 tons in the county, the maximum daily turnover adds up to 200 tons while the maximum daily volume of transaction reaches over 10 million CNY.
