Sinkiang: The mushroom industry in Manas County flourishes

Since the back-up promotion to Sinkiang, Sanming City, Fujian Province has been giving full play to superiority and vigorously promoting mushroom cultivation technology in Manas County, Sinkiang. Mushroom industry has evidently become the new one that thrives local farmers and herdsmen.
Now, mushroom industry is booming in Manas County, till the end of 2016, mushroom production scale of the county reached 7 million bags, the output obtained 7300 tons while the production value came to 74 million CNY, main varieties include Button mushroom, Oyster mushroom, Ganoderma, Stropharia rugoso-annulata, Agrocybe cylindracea, Pleurotus citrinopileatus and others. Among all the fresh mushrooms, Button mushrooms are preferred in markets. By actual statistics, in the first quarter of 2017, the cultivation area of Button mushroom in the county reached 26,000 square meters, the average output in each square meter came to 20-30 kg, the gross output amounted to 520 tons while the production value achieved above 14.56 million CNY.
