Liaoning Province: Shiitake becomes the characteristic booming industry

As can be seen from the picture, at present, Mrs. Zhou, the staff working in Shiitake base of Beitaizi Village, Longcheng District, Liaoning Province is busy picking Shiitakes. According to know, she gets the job in the base and monthly earns the incomes of 1500 CNY, which basically solves the subsistence problem for her poor family.
Beitaizi Village is local provincial poor village, residents are separately distributed while closed traffic, barren land and backward living and farming conditions are evident. Besides, local agricultural acreage reaches 3453 mu, the climate is drought while grain output is decided by weather to a great extent. For years, under the help of provincial technology agency, the Phase One of Shiitake Industry has been implemented with the annual output goal of 200,000 Shiitake sticks. On this basis, Phase Two which incorporates 19 cultivation greenhouses and the annual production capacity of 3 million Shiitake sticks has been started with the funds of 800,000 CNY. In 2016, the cultivation area reached 200 mu and stick output obtained 600,000. Now, Phase Three is being fiercely implemented and the anticipated stick production could be 800,000.
According to know, through constant development, the area of Shiitake base in Beitaizi Village has been enlarged to 20,000 square meters, besides, stick-production workshop, modern production line, cultivation greenhouse, refrigeration house the other basic facilities have been equipped. At present, the cultivation area obtains 200 mu, 10 technical staffs have solved the employment problem for over 100 villagers and brought the gross incomes of 3 million CNY.
