The county launches the power of mushroom to twirl poverty alleviation

For several years, Zhongshan County, Guangxi Province has been adopting the mode of “company+cooperative+base+poor household” to develop mushroom cultivation. So far, the production factory of Black fungus stick which covers 1500 square meters and cultivation greenhouse which covers 12,000 square meters have been respectively built, the annual production on Black fungus stick comes to 1.5 million sticks while the fresh output totals 100 tons. This year, the county plans to develop at least 5000 mu of Black fungus and the estimated gross production value could exceed 220 million CNY. Besides, through working in the bases, farmers could generate the gross revenues of above 87 million CNY, over 2800 poor households are also ending poverty and living a prosperous life through mushroom industry.
