Anti-season Shiitakes hold up a prosperous umbrella for masses

Recently, the members in Xinyun Mushroom Specialized Cooperative in Baoshan Village, Liaoning Province are delightfully busy with work in anti-season Shiitake base. “Since the first ten days of April, 10,000 kg of Shiitakes have been daily shipped to big cities in China,” said principal of the base, adding that 1.5 million CNY could be generated through 260,000 Shiitake bags.
It is understood that since the spring of 2016, Baoshan Village has been positively guiding mushroom cultivators to improve the quality of strain, thereby improving the appearance and taste of Shiitake, and further meeting the market demand. What’s more, anti-season Shiitakes provide job opportunities, more and more villages give up employment chances in big cities and choose to cultivate Shiitakes at home by present Shiitake cultivation technology and market sources.
Now, the cultivation area of anti-season Shiitake has reached to more than 400 mu in Baoshan Village, the average annual revenues come up to 2 million CNY.
