Beijing: The Shiitakes have entered into picking season

Recently, the Shiitakes in Beijing Baolvyuan Ecological Agricultural Development Cooperative are gradually fruiting, high output is delighting local cultivators.
It is understood that the cooperative is located in Jiuxian Town, Yanqing District, Beijing City of China, it holds nearly 100 members and mainly engages in under-forest mushroom cultivation. As the area conceded from land to forestry has not be fully utilized, the prospect of under-forest economic industry in the district is bright by its 200,000 mu of exploitable area.
At present, the cooperative is applying for Class A-license for mushroom strain production, the hardware facilities include inoculation room, strain-production workshop, refrigeration house, sterilization workshop and flow production line, and the annual production is 2 million sticks.
