Tiny Shiitakes hold up a prosperous industry

In Xinfang Village, Longcheng District, Liaoning Province, at the mention of Mr. He and his wife, villagers can’t stop showing praises on them. According to know, they not only successfully started a mushroom business, but also lead local masses to embark on Shiitake cultivation.
In 2016, the couple produced 60,000 sticks in greenhouses, harvested 45,000 kg of Shiitakes and obtained nearly 100,000 CNY of profits. This year, they have also raised the funds of over 2 million CNY on the construction of 40 greenhouses including fermentation greenhouse, mushroom greenhouse and picking greenhouse.
“we are confident at twirling the project better and better, now, we established Lele Shiitake Cooperative and will lead more villagers to grow prosperous,” said the couple passionately.
