Lay emphasis on humidity and temperature when you cultivate Oyster mushrooms in summer

2017-06-15 16:56:33

When you cultivate Oyster mushrooms in summer in terms of bag-material, after the fruiting, tiny mushrooms usually die in small batches, three main reasons are summarized as follows:
1. Excess temperature: After the formation of primordia, fungus caps gradually wither and then tiny mushrooms turn to die when the temperature is persistently above 30 degrees.
2. Too high or too low humidity: After the formation of tiny buds, when relative air humidity of mushroom house is below 80%, tiny mushrooms then become withered and dead for lack of moisture. During the expansion period of sporocarp, excessive water-spraying easily results in dropsical, yellow and rotten result.
3. Poor ventilation: When the concentration of mushroom house or greenhouse exceeds 0.5%, Misshapen mushrooms are very likely to occur.
In brief, mushroom farmers should particularly pay attention to the humidity and temperature of mushroom house, when mushrooms encounter excess temperature during the fruiting period, you could spray well water to lower the temperature, meanwhile, be sure to enhance the ventilation, maintain fresh air of mushroom house. Besides, when spraying water in mushroom house, you could spray it to the walls and ground of house and keep water away from tiny sporocarps. Last, but not the least, you should master certain amount of water-spraying and spray water 4-5 times per day after buds occur in summer.
