Daozhen County strives to build itself into “The county of mushroom”

Recently, the Shiitakes in greenhouse of Meijiang Village, Daozhen County, Guizhou Province are ushering the harvest season.
“One greenhouse could absorb 2000 sticks while it absorbs 9000-10,000 sticks by stack-up mode. At present, the given market prices on Shiitake and Agrocybe cylindracea are respectively 6 CNY and 7 CNY per kg. Besides, the net profits on each stick come to at least 3 CNY, the net profits on each greenhouse is above 6000 CNY in each season while 12,000 CNY could be earned for 2 seasons in a year,” introduced local party secretary in excitement, adding that the government gives subsidies of 7500 CNY on each standard greenhouse for poor household, and provides 150 farmers with jobs.
