2000 poor people could be lifted out of poverty via Bamboo fungus cultivation

For recent days, in the demonstrative cultivation base of Bamboo fungus covering 500 mu in Chadian Village, Zhijin County, Guizhou Province of China, mushroom farmers have been engaged in Bamboo fungus cultivation. According to know, the project holds the gross investment of 18 million CNY, from its start on February, 20 to now, the cultivation has been almost completed.
According to the chairman of En’xiong Economic Crop Cooperative, the project has transferred 500 mu of land in total with the transfer period of 2 years, what’s more, the transfer fee is 400 CNY per mu per year, plus with the accumulated labor cost of 12,390 CNY, for each mu of land, farmer could obtain the incomes of 13,190 CNY in one and a half years.
“Through 1 mu of Bamboo fungus cultivation, 4 poor people could be encouraged to end poverty while 2000 poor people could do it through 500 mu of Bamboo fungus land,” said related principals passionately.
