Sinkiang: Manasi County vigorously develops mushroom industry

Since 2010, Manasi County of Sinkiang began to develop mushroom industry, under the support of relevant leaders, the county successively introduced Button mushroom, Stropharia rugoso-annulata, Agaricus blazei murill and other varieties. By the end of 2016, the county established 160 mushroom greenhouses, the interplanting area on forest land totaled 300 mu, mushroom cultivation scale reached 7.6 million bags while the production value came to over 73 million CNY. In the first quarter of this year, Manasi County reached the production scale of 26,000 square meters, the output of 520 tons or so and the production value of 7.28 million CNY.
