The city booms Black fungus industry and goes the road of precise poverty alleviation

For years, Dongming Village of Jilin Province has been laying emphasis on the combination between superior industry and market demand, strengthening the transformation on supply-demand structure.
In line with the development mode of collective economy program and poor household, Tongliao Jisheng Agricultural Development Co., LTD was established with 360,000 CNY of support funds and 415,000 CNY of special aid-the-poor funds. At the beginning of its establishment, the company developed 15 mu of Black fungus land, made 300,000 sticks and earned the profits of 80,000 CNY. In 2016, the collective economy income of the village reached 240,000 CNY while 18 poor households meaning 35 poor people were assisted out of bitter poverty. This year, the village plans to cultivate 400,000 sticks of Black fungus, enlarge the cultivation area to 1200 square meters, establish 3 Ganoderma greenhouses and 10 Black fungus greenhouses. What’s more, it is also going to lead 46 households covering 114 people to develop Black fungus industry with the funds of 2.24 million CNY, and drive mushroom farmers to earn the gross revenues of 890,000 CNY.
