Morel cultivation widens the road of income growth for masses

Since this year, Zhouqu County, Gansu Province has been seizing Morel industry as the characteristic industry that promotes farmers to generate incomes. Till now, 1068 greenhouses covering 256 mu of land have been established in local 19 villages and the estimated production value could reach above 10 million CNY.
In 2015, local party branch secretary leaded 22 households to establish Lvfeng Professional Cooperative, in 2016, they began to cultivate Morels under the funds and technical support from town government. Since this April, the first batch of Morel has been successively fruiting. Now, the market price is 100 CNY per kg, the production value in each mu of land comes to 150kg while the estimated revenues of this year could obtain nearly 200,000 CNY.
