1. Disease symptom: Contaminated mushrooms initially present brown tumors which gradually increase, then a layer of white mould forms on surface of contaminated mushrooms. At first, they grow in a misshapen trend and become a shapeless white block mass. In serious condition, the stipe of contaminated mushrooms becomes extremely thick while fungus caps show misshapen status, finally they become withered, soft, and secrete brown mucus while smelling stink.
2. Contamination source: Mycogone perniciosa Magn is the answer, which comes from the soil of earthing.
3. Control kernels:
A. Timely get rid of contaminated mushrooms, root out the substrate that holds 10cm link-up of contaminated mushrooms.
B. Spray Bordeaux Mixture on the surface of earthing, which alleviates the symptom.
C. Enhance the ventilation, lower the temperature and humidity of mushroom house.
