Shiitakes in the industrial mushroom garden fever

Recently, the Shiitakes in industrial mushroom garden of Fuping County, Hebei Province have entered into picking season. According to relevant principal, 91 Shiitake greenhouses in the garden are undertaken by 76 farmers. In last December, the first batch of sticks were placed in the greenhouses, till now, 50 greenhouses have realized mushroom fruiting, the production capacity reached 300 tons while the production value totaled 2.1 million CNY.

According to principal, the industrial mushroom garden holds the gross investment of 32 million CNY, occupies an area of 310 mu, owns 101 high-standard greenhouses and 1 refrigeration house covering 1300 square meters. Besides, the garden also implements the operation philosophy of unified construction, unified stick production, unified technical guidance, unified recycling, unified marketing and processing, which promotes the standardized, intensive and industrial mushroom production.
