Common materials used for Oyster mushroom cultivation

1. Main materials: Sawdust and straws are common choice, you could moderately add auxiliary materials and cotton seed hulls to achieve ideal effects. According to years of experience, the biological conversion rate reaches 100% when you choose sawdust and straws. In general, 50kg of fresh mushrooms could be harvested through 50kg of dried sawdust.
2. Auxiliary materials: Wheat skin, corn powder, peanut bran, gypsum powder, Phosphate fertilizer, sugar, compound fertilizer and lime.
The additive amount of wheat skin and corn powder is generally at 20%. All the materials used for the production should be fresh and free-from-mould. Besides, 5% of peanut bran, 1% of sugar, 1% gypsum and Calcium carbonate are generally preferred. The efficacy of lime addition includes three aspects, sterilization, PH Value adjustment and Calcium supplement. In addition, when you combine with materials, you could add sterilization agents such as Thiophanate methyl, Kemeiling and others.
