A crucial attention on Enoki mushroom cultivation

Enoki mushroom belongs to fruiting performances at low temperature, mycelia grow in between 5-32 degrees, the superior temperature is in a range of 22-25 degrees. The differentiation of sporocarps happens in a range of 3-18 degrees, the superior temperature refers to the range of 8-12 degrees. Under low temperature, Enoki mushroom holds robust growth, under high temperature,  the mentioned phenomenons happen, the followings are two aspects which result in high temperature.
1. Open bags ahead of time and rush to the period of fruiting and bud thinning. The time of spawn running and fungus age are long, in order to achieve easier marketing, many mushroom farmers open fungus sacks ahead of time, under that circumstance, fungus sacks are in halfway spawn-running situation, sporocarps of Enoki mushroom on top begin to form and grow, but the bottom of fungi sack is still in the phase of spawn running, much heat will be released during the process of spawn running, which raises the temperature of fungus sacks and the growth of spawns could be too strong. Hence it is suggested to unfasten bag mouth when spawn-running is almost done. What’s more, it is improper to directly open fungus sacks, you could firstly unfasten strings, after a few days, loosen bag mouth and finally wholly open fungus sacks.
2. You could moderately lift film below bag mouth, which facilitates letting heat on the bottom of give off and avoid dried heads of mushroom cap.
