Black fungus cultivation lifts village collective economy into a higher level

Recently, there has been a busy scene in the mushroom cooperative of Daming Village, Anhui Province, Black fungi are gradually entering to picking period.
It is understood that as the key poor village, Daming Village closely grasps at the opportunity of poverty alleviation and positively implements collective economy. In 2015, 200,000 CNY was invested on the field that owns 50,000 Black fungus sticks and covers nearly 6 mu.
“This year, the Black fungi hold the picking period of 6 months, 3 times of picking could be averagely done per month and for each time, 25kg could be harvested, in line with the marker price of 60 CNY per kg, 100,000 CNY could be generated on village collective economy while 500 poor households could be employed,” said relevant person in charge of Daming Village.
