Morel cultivation got succeeded in hinterland of Tibet plateau, China

For recent years, artificial cultivation of morel has been vigorously promoted in Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Henan and other provinces in China. However, the same morel cultivation that occurs above the altitude of 3000 meters of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is rather rare. It is understood that Gansu Gannan Biotechnology Development Co., LTD began to conduct the trail cultivation of morel in 2014, morels successfully broke into soil on February, 2015. According to the principal of the company, on April, 2016, the output of morel has exceeded 200kg. This April, the Mu output has broken through 300kg and now, the Morels in the bases held by the company have entered into peak picking season.
